| Accommodations & Amenities The Feathered Nest Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful 900 square foot private apartment with private entrance. There is a Kitchen stocked just for you, a roomy Living room, Dining Area, bedroom with King bed, and Private Bathroom. The Feathered Nest Bed and Breakfast is fully wheelchair accessible. We take single bookings only, maximum 2 adults. Well-mannered children are welcome. No pets, and, no smoking please. |
| There is plenty of interesting reading in the “library,” an eclectic mix of Alaskan, natural history, fiction and non fiction. A very nice collection of Alaska Travel Videos too! We also offer satellite dish television with a VCR/DVD. There is a local video rental store just down the road, or you may rent a pay per view movie for a nominal fee. The fully electric recliner will assist you in and out and all our guests have found it very comfortable. The sofa has a pull out bed for younger guests. For business travelers, we offer free wireless hook up for your laptop! |
| The large bedroom has a California King Select Comfort mattress. You adjust for your firmness or softness preferences. Lots of pillows and a hand made quilt adorn the bed. The closet and oak dressers are yours as you need. |
| The kitchen in the Feathered Nest has all the amenities you might need for any length of stay. The kitchen is fully equipped from dishes to pots and pans and everything in between. A cook top, full size refrigerator, sink, microwave oven, and coffee pot are yours alone. A variety of teas as well as coffee and all the fixings for a complete breakfast are yours as well. For visits less than 7 days, your hosts will provide a breakfast request list for you to fill out, and this will be provided for you upon your arrival. You prepare your breakfast when you like, no schedules to keep! At the end of your day when you are done exploring our little island or returning from an exciting charter, you may eat at one of Petersburg's restaurants, carry out a dinner, or you may prepare your own meals here. |
